Healthy World, Healthy You Coloring Book
In honor of Children’s Environmental Health Day, we are excited to announce the launch of a new environmental health coloring book for youth which includes original artwork as well as science facts and actionable tips for caregivers. The story and activity book “Healthy World, Healthy You” follows a young girl named Isabella who recently moved to Brooklyn. As she heads to Brooklyn Bridge Park, she educates her family and friends on the intersection of health and the environment. The book features tips from environmental health experts from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
This material was developed by Valeria Menédez, MPH, as a trainee in the Short-Term Training Program for Minority Students within the Department of Environmental Medicine and Public Health (National Heart, Lung, and Blood grant 5R25HL108857-08) in collaboration with Sarah Evans, PhD, MPH, Assistant Professor, through Mount Sinai Children’s Environmental Health Center and Transdisciplinary Center on Early Environmental Exposures (NIEHS grant P30ES023515).
