Rachel Knapp is a 2nd year medical student at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. “I had never had the opportunity to see a pediatric patient before this internship so working in clinic and seeing kids of all age ranges was an incredibly valuable experience. Additionally, I really enjoyed my time at the DOH; the experiences I had at the DOH were incredibly unique and diverse and I do not think I would have ever had the opportunity to gain such a deep understanding of the department had I not done this internship.”
