Here are highlights from our Annual Conference on April 9th-11th, 2025 at the Edith Macy Conference Center in Briarcliff Manor, NY.

The goals of the conference were to:

  1. Strengthen relationships and collaborations among NYSCHECK centers.
  2. Demonstrate successes in building the New York State (NYS) pediatric environmental health (EH) workforce and services delivered to families.
  3. Share strategies and identify actions in 2026-27 to sustain our core work areas in EH screening and prevention, medical education, and community partnerships. Focus areas include:
    • Rx for Prevention – expanding and strengthening use.
    • Review EH screening and education progress and identify strategies to amplify impact.
    • Highlight opportunities for statewide partnerships and collaborations including ways to educate decision makers.
