2024 Annual Conference Highlights

Here are highlights from our Annual Conference that began on April 17th, 2024 at the Edith Macy conference center in Westchester.
Thank you to all the participants!

Some of the primary goals of the conference were as follows:

Strengthen relationships and collaborations among NYSCHECK centers.
Demonstrate successes in building the NYS pediatric environmental health workforce.
Share strategies and identify actions in 2024-27 to sustain our core areas of work in environmental health
screening and prevention, medical education, and community partnerships including:
1. Review progress on environmental health screening and identify strategies to amplify impact.
2. Leverage collaborations between Lead Resource Program and the NYSCHECK network to
  address lead poisoning.
3. Highlight strategies to address pediatric environmental health in rural NY.
