CLINICAL CONSULTATIONS
Our Center hosts periodic ECHO telehealth clinics regarding environmental health hazards as part of SUNY Upstate Medical University’s pediatric multi-specialty consultation service in the region. In addition, the Upstate Pediatric and Adolescent Center has partnered with the Onondaga County
Health Department Healthy Neighborhoods Program and Home Headquarters to provide home visits to address environmental triggers for clinic patients with severe asthma. The program is called Targeting Triggers for High-Risk Asthmatics. We work in concert with the Upstate NY Poison Center, which deals with acute toxic ingestions for a 54 county area. Lastly, we work in close coordination with the Central and Eastern New York Lead Poisoning Resource Center, in which Dr. Hobart also has a leadership role.
